elegant

i think the most beautiful and elegant writing is farsy you would never think that lines and dots can be so gorgeous in their form. when Iranian artist Reza Abedini uses farsy with images and writes quotes or sayings, it leaves a powerful impression on one. the 'negative' space occupied with a mouth in black and white and farsy letters flowing from it, causes one to think when it says ' those who are probably talking are to busy to listen to others." this statement may be simple, but the message is powerful and is further enforced with the image shown. Reza's artwork not only provides to those words with context but to others, a glimpse of the power of language and a simple image. it goes back to the saying where a picture speaks a thousand words...
