spit that paint yo.

thats it. now spit it out. up. splash. in your face. good. green. blue. yellow. spots. staining. your face. look at me. penatrate the camera with your look with out trying.camera. shot.perfect.

does that sound like an intimate experience? it is when your Oliver Herring. the purpose of having a complete stranger is that unknowing, the unexpected, the instant when complete mess comes to sense. paint in your face somehow portrays the sense of vulnerability. oliver strives to simply take picture of complete mess and paint to an intimate experience with emphasis of color and the work placed in doing so. exhaustion. its all about having the personal connection with a complete stranger. his vow of accomplishing this perhaps evokes to others a deeper meaning. that what is difficult to look at or understand, we might have a connection with others., maybe to gain a sense of peace, that which is highly needed in our world today. its about putting down our bias and judgement and simply connecting with others and viewing them in all their glory and beauty when perhaps the reality is not that. oliver's message inspires a message only percieved with paint spat in your own face :D
